ABYS ("we", "our", or "us") provides a self-hosted media server application software. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it through our compliance with this policy.

2. Data Collection

ABYS is a self-hosted application. This means:

• We do not host your specific instance of the software.
• We do not have access to your media library, metadata, or viewing habits.
• We do not track which third-party integrations you enable.
• All application data resides on your own hardware or cloud infrastructure that you control.

3. Information We Collect

We only collect data necessary to facilitate commercial transactions and license validation:

• Account Information: When you purchase a license, our merchant of record (LemonSqueezy) collects your email address and payment information. We do not store credit card details.
• License Validation: Your server may periodically contact our licensing server (`api.abys.app`) to verify the validity of your Pro license key. This request includes your license key and a unique machine identifier.

4. Third-Party Services

The Application allows you to connect to third-party services (e.g., TMDB, Trakt, Stremio Addons). Your use of these services is governed by their respective privacy policies. ABYS acts only as a client interface for these services.

5. Merchant of Record

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Lemon Squeezy, LLC. Lemon Squeezy is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Lemon Squeezy provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
